I've learnt a little more about Korean culture through 'My Love from the Star' exhibition.
There is this game called 'Tuho' - basically is to aim and throw the sticks into few holes in front of you between certain distance. I realized from this Tuho game experience, it trained your focusing mentality where it need the correct aiming ability and believe the sticks will get into each holes.
I managed to get few sticks in! Yeheeeeeee!~

Special 'My Love from the Star' Exhibition at Dongdaemun Design Plaza
My friends and I went to Dongdaemun Design Plaza for the special drama 'My Love from the Star' exhibition few days ago, as many Korean drama fans have already known - this drama has a huge popularity around Asia since it's broadcast early this year.
Admission to the exhibition is 12,000won for adults (20% discount during my trip)
Taken from: http://english.visitkorea.or.kr/enu/FU/FU_EN_15.jsp?cid=1923659
The design plaza will hold an exhibition featuring filming sets and stage props, which the main stars Jun Ji-hyun and Kim Soo-hyun used. The exhibition will start from June 10 and last until August 15, 2014. The exhibition has 9 themed zones, like “coincidence,” “encounter,” and “romance,” that follow the drama’s story line. Visitors can take a close look at the house that Do Min-jun (Kim Soo-hyun) and Cheon Song-yi (Jun Ji-hyun) lived together in and watch the drama in 3D. The balcony where the two characters had many scenes is also on display and visitors can record videos as well as take pictures with virtual characters from the drama.
Direction:
Take Subway and stop at Dongdaemun History and Culture Park station
Exit 1 or 2 to Dongdaemun Design Plaza
The exhibition is just outside the building

D-10
Another 10 days to go to....... SEOUL, South Korea.
I have yet start packing my stuffs and as you can see here, I'm just dumping each and everything that I should be bringing there on my living hall's floor. That's only the first case! -- I can't even think straight... how am I going to carry 'em by myself when I arrived Seoul. I'm planning to drag two luggages and a medium size box (perhaps?)
But anyways, things-have-to-be-done with own effort in order to feel the achievement!
*pats pats myself because I deserves it =P*

I received this lovely Swarovski crystal pen from my uncle and he makes me re-think
"Umm, maybe I should start writing"
Writing is never my thing but I would like to try.
Thank you, Uncle Jimmy.

TESOL
I've made a decision to take up an online TEFL course last December and I still have another week to complete my last 2 chapters. Actually ever since I've started this course, English has been very interesting to me although English has always been my second language that I speak throughout my entire life. There are so many new words, sentences, meanings that I've learnt throughout the course and it makes me feel all brand new once again. One of the reason why I took up TEFL is because I wanted to teach our younger generations around the world if opportunities allowed perhaps in the future.
What is TEFL?
As you may already know, TESOL stands for Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages and encompasses what used to be called TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) and TESL (Teaching English as a Second Language)
Generally, TEFL emphasises aspects of teaching English in countries where English is not widely used in daily life, such as Russia, China, France and Brazil.
The term TESL tends to emphasise the needs of learners who will use English in their daily lives, in addition to their mother-tongue. In many countries, such as Zambia and India for example, English is used as an official language in government, in business, in newspapers, TV and radio as well as being the main medium of educational instruction in schools and colleges, as well as universities.
The acronym TESOL encompasses both TESL and TEFL and is very widely used around the world.
Good teachers of English, whether they are TESOL, TEFL or TESL-qualified, adapt their teaching methods, their expectations of students, their teaching materials and their classroom activities to their local environment and the needs of their learners.
